Novo Nordisk medical representatives experienced significant delays during the pharmacy restocking query process. Emails sent to the pharmacy stocking team took more than 48 hours to be processed. The manual order query process led to inefficiencies, making it difficult for the pharmacy stocking team to keep up with the demand.
THE SOLUTION
To address this issue, Netsurit implemented an automated workflow using Microsoft Power Automate. This workflow streamlined the process by automatically providing the order status update when receiving an email query. The order information is then stored in Microsoft SharePoint Online, and a Microsoft Power BI Dashboard was created to present the query history and track progress in a centralized and user-friendly manner.
THE RESULTS
Implementing the automated workflow solution yielded significant improvements. Pharmacies began receiving updates on their query within 3 minutes, resulting in increased customer satisfaction. The pharmacy stocking team was able to focus on more productive tasks as the automated system handled queries. With the Power BI Dashboard, the team had real-time visibility into the entire process, allowing them to track queries efficiently.
