Netsurit sets The President Hotel on track to becoming the technology leader in hospitality

Technology in the hospitality industry has become critical to attracting and retaining hotel guests. As consumer expectations rise when it comes to technology, networks need to be rock-solid.

To meet escalating guest and staff expectations, the President Hotel, an award-winning urban resort in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, approached managed IT services provider, Netsurit, to assist. The hotel wanted to future-proof its network and offer guests mobile experiences that can only be delivered by a robust, secure ad accessible infrastructure.

“We wanted an IT services provider that would take care of our network infrastructure so that we could focus on your core business of being a world-class hotel,” says Jeremy Clayton of Turnkey Hospitality. “When the President Hotel became and independent hotel in mod 2015, there were inconsistencies with networking infrastructure. Swift, short term solutions had been taken with regards to ICT issues that arose which resulted in recurring problems and inefficiencies in the network infrastructure.”

More than a year down the line, the President Hotel is seeing the benefits of reduced operational expenses as a result of reliable network availability, scalability and rapid system diagnosis and repair.

Netsurit developed a comprehensive networking solution for the hotel and consistent upfront planning had yielded better results for all network users and has enabled the hotel to create a technology vision for the future.

“Netsurit has a wealth of experience and has provided the President Hotel with IT tools and solutions to ensure that our vision of being the most technologically advanced hotel in Africa by 2025 is realised,” adds Clayton. “We now have a trusted and committed business partner with whom we are able to have frank conversations about the expectations of business.

The Netsurit team is dynamics enough to push boundaries and achieve high-quality solutions that align with the hotel’s business needs. Clayton says that they are always ready to bounce ideas around, even when some of these are outside of the scope of the contract.

“They are not just another supplier. Netsurit has provided us with excellent service and the team goes above and beyond – not because they have to, but because they want to. That’s the kind of partnership we value, and we are looking forward to a long-term relationship.”
